P.U.S.H..
Saturday morning I stood in the rain while helping out Block ‘N Bridle at Springfest. It was cold, but also a ton of fun. However, since then my nose is running, my throat is sore, and I have never sneezed so much in my life. I tried the over the counter medication, taking my vitamins, and drink gallons of orange juice. Even though I did everything I could to fight it, I got sick. I needed a doctor. However, I was scared of PUSH. I had heard that all they do is ask if you are pregnant or have an STD. Plus, with finals right around the corner I didn’t have hours to waste sitting and waiting to see a doctor. Finally, I broke down and called PUSH. I couldn’t take it any longer. I made an appointment for 3:45. My chemistry lecture got out early and I got to push at about 3:25. I was prepared for a long wait, I brought homework, the newspaper, and had several phone calls to make. I checked in at the front desk and they asked me to go upstairs and wait outside a room for my doctor. I had not more than sat down when a nurse came out and called me into my room. No embarrassing questions. No one asked me if I was pregnant. It was a normal visit and the nurse and doctor were both very nice. I was out of the office in 10 minutes!! It was amazing. And I did not even have to pay for the office visit since I’m a full time student. The only bad part of the visit was learning my current weight! So from here on out I recommend PUSH.
