Laundry
In my first year of college I learned a lot. Most of the time I think that I learned more outside of a classroom then actually in one. When you get to college you learn that some things are not necessities anymore. Today while doing laundry I kept thinking that it was more of a hassle than it was worth. Even though it is not that hard it takes time out of the day where you could be doing something else. And I am really cheap and hate spending money to do my laundry. I’m going home in 4 weeks, can I wait to do laundry that long? Probably not. So I must do it today, when I need to be studying for two exams and writing papers and 15 other homework assignments that are due within the next few days. Many other things I also decided pretty quick when I came to college are not necessities. For example, my outfit matching, or even trying to look cute once in a while. My outfit of choice has become sweatpants and my favorite hoodie. I don’t have anyone to impress. Showering and sleep have also become lower and lower on my priority list. Now, I don’t take this to an extreme I do shower and practice good hygiene, but you all know what I mean. And when it comes to sleep, I always say I will catch up on the weekends but then I get even less sleep on Friday and Saturday night. Anyway, finishing papers, staying up to study, and of course the late night Mario Cart tournaments have become closer and closer to the top of my priority list. But hey its college and you only live once. Might as well make these four years great.

I'm the same way
Sleep? Laundry? Yeah, I really don't have the time to waste on either of those. I do shower everyday, so I guess I practice good hygiene in that aspect. Though really the only reason I can't avoid it is because I can't fully wake up without a shower, at least not with the few hours of sleep I get each night. This past week, the hot water in my apartment wasn't working right, so showering was unpleasant, but it was pretty effective. Nothing wakes you up quite like a cold shower, but I typically like whether or not I take one of them to be my choice. Cold showers do have their purpose in life, beyond waking us up, and I'm sure, being our age, we all know how important of a purpose that is (is anyone following me? I won't say it, because if I'm the only one that thinks this way, and there's a definite possibility I'm the only one in our class that does, the explanation might sound a little strange). Oh well, as far as laundry goes, I stretch out the time between washes more and more all the time. I think I can last until the end of the semester, but I don't know for sure if I have enough shirts. I can get a couple of uses out of one shirt, but eventually, Febreze can only do so much. I guess yet another benefit of not having the same classes everyday is that nobody would notice if you wear the exact same outfit three, four, or even five days in a row. That's not to say that I've personally done that or anything... Oh, and Meg, it's Mario Kart, not Cart. *Darrin geekily laughs and pushes his glasses back up on his nose*
Haha, I was doing laundry
Haha, I was doing laundry today and calculating how much of each I would need to survive without doing laundry for the next three weeks. Should I attempt? I don't know....sleep? what is this sleep you speak of? I wonder...
