I believe in the power of bear hugs
When I was contemplating the things that I believe in, I kept coming up with the thought that I really value friendship. I was trying to come up with a symbol for friendship and I continuously kept thinking that what I value most in friendship is a simple hug. I believe that a bear hug tells you everything that you need to know about a friendship. I believe that the friends that would do anything for you are the people that give you the biggest bear hugs. I believe that hugs can make the hardest situation into one that is manageable. I think that a hug is capable of taking pain away and showing the recipient that they are not alone, that everything will end up "right-side up." I believe that giving someone a hug everyday increases emotional stability and that receiving a hug early in the morning can set up a successful day. Essentially, this all boils down to the fact that I believe in the power of touch. I believe that touch can heal the soul and that you can measure your life by the amount of hugs that people are willing to give you. I believe that you should strive for affection and give it when you can. You never know when it will brighten someone's day and make all of the difference in their life. I believe that giving someone a bear hug, not a one-armed, sloppy hug, is the best gift in life.

I really agree. There is
I really agree. There is such an incredibly power held within a big, strong hug. It can express sincerity, condolences, shared joy, love, happiness... so many things. There is nothing better than a great big hug!
