Post Your Projects!!!
Wed, 04/30/2008 - 11:57 — ebayerHello Everyone. I'm writing to request you all post your final projects to the course website, if possible (as a file attachment, link, etc). We only had a taste of the projects during presentations, and it would be nice if everyone could see the finished products (which have all been impressive).
Thanks again for a great semester. Your projects have all been terrific!

sooo
Sun, 04/27/2008 - 18:02 — sweetcyanidemy brain is ready to melt, and I've usually always dealt with this by playing my violin, and it tends to sound the best when I'm angry/frustrated/depressed...can't play it in my room anymore, it's full of suitcases and boxes and my roommates are always there, and obnoxiously loud....I was just thinking, back freshman year, when we played outside at Niagara falls, people dropped money into our cases...I think I made about $50 that day, it was pretty nifty.... too bad we're mostly poor college students here because I need money

Finals
Sun, 04/27/2008 - 14:51 — KelseyAlyseSo is there anyone who is really motivated to study? I kindof am, but I don't have a final until Wednesday. I have two Wednesday, one Thursday, and one Saturday morning. I won't be going home until Sunday. And so because I don't have finals for a couple days, I keep putting off studying and instead doing fun stuff or just chilling. It's kind of nice. My parents are stopping by today to give me some boxes to start packing. Tomorrow for sure I'll start studying.

Wow, your project looks crazy cool. I like how you have journal and thoughts from both before and after the experience of war. Your writing was really good and I was enjoying listening to you read it. It really sounded like a soldier telling his story. Your powerpoint was fantastic, the pictures you found were perfect. Very, very nice.

Monday and Wednesday Presentation
Wed, 04/23/2008 - 15:29 — amoretAllison, your project was really interesting. I never really thought about being in a long distance relationship before, I just thought it would be too hard, especially in college. I liked how you talked about all the different ways that people try to make it work though, definately cool and innovative.
Andrea, you had a really interesting topic. The only thing is that sometimes you could clarify on the topic more specifics on the illness and what you are trying to learn about it.
Response to Projects
Tue, 04/22/2008 - 16:33 — kwislerAndrea~ What type of mental illness are you looking at specifically? Are you going to go through the stages, and end with being out of the hospital? I'm really curious to see how this turns out, I think it's awesome that you're really trying to get in the mind of a mentally ill patient. Did you look at any you-tube videos or any medical videos with actual mentally ill patients talking? I feel like that may be beneficial to your writing.

Wow, I've never even heard of bisexual polyamorous people before, so your project was very interesting. I like you idea of making it a story, because I love reading and I know I would find it interesting. Your story definitely sounds like it will be a good thing for people to read so that they do not assume and then judge others without knowing what the other person is all about.

Do we get to see final projects? 'cause that would be cool
Mon, 04/21/2008 - 21:48 — sweetcyanidefirst of all, thank you everyone for your feedback. It's very useful.
Are we going to get to see final projects? I know some of them aren't on digital media, but if we could see at least the ones that are, it would be really cool, because I really like what I've seen so far. I think all of you chose really good mediums for your research/project. I'm really interested in seeing final projects if possible.

Reviews of Monday's Presentations
Mon, 04/21/2008 - 21:09 — amankusI hope every enjoyed my presentation. I would really appreciate any/all thorough feed back (good/bad).
And thank you Melanie and Harini for your lovely comments it made my day!
Joey- I loved the professional look of your project. I also love the diea of a magazine with really goes with your project. I only wish that maybe it would be more than one article. But I think with your background, you can pull your one article together. I also appreciated your poise in the face of some rude comments.
