Final Project Log- Team Gorgeous!
This week was hectic, as we were going back and forth trying to find fonts, get Mike and Kim to supply us with changes, ideas and suggestions, and then to actually go in and make those changes. They were typically little changes, but they required a lot of resizing and dimension changes as well. This throws off the whole document, as we saw when some text was cut off in the process of changing fonts. These kinds of design challenges come up all the time in this work, but it was intensified knowing that there would be a kind of review done on them by the client! Hello Gorgeous really cares about the work we have accomplished. However, I believe that in the end, we supplied them with two wonderfully written, designed and visually appealing pamphlets that they can actually use in cancer treatment centers everywhere!
That being said, I can't believe we are already done with the semester! I have had the best experience I think I've ever been involved in concerning working in a group in a class- let alone an online group! I have greatly appreciated Ryan, Kendra and James' willingness to meet in person, as well as text, call, email and IM. This readily available communication has significantly lessened the burden and usual stress of such work, and left more room to concentrate on what we wanted to do for Hello Gorgeous! as far as their pamphlets. I have learned that in a team, when everyone contributes there is no stress involved because everyone is looking out for each other! I love our documents, and hope that Hello Gorgeous! is furthered even more in their great cause by using them!
