This is the final few hours before our final draft is due. We split up the work for the first draft and now we are discussing who wants to do what for the final draft. So far, It looks like Kendra will be editing for grammar and spelling. I'm not sure about who will shorten up the paper yet. We haven't had any group meetings this week. We only communicated through email. I had a great time with my group throughout this project and I hope they did too.

its done!
Yeah, there were not any group meetings or too much communication this week; I think we were all just ready for the project to be over. However, we all came together at the end and got the draft ready and submitted. Thank you very much for doing the final check and posting the draft. Also thank you for being a very active group member throughout the process. I was worried about the project from the beginning as I had never really written a collaborative paper before, but I think our group worked really well together and pulled off a pretty good white paper. And guess what…we’re done now! Enjoy the rest of your semester. I’m jealous you’ll be graduating so soon.
It sounds as if you were
It sounds as if you were having some troubles getting together and with communication this last week that you had to do the paper. Our group had the same problems but it was really only with one person. I know it goes though when you do not have much time to meet with your group online or in person and how communication can be cut short. Each of us have other things going on in our lives and with classes and at times it was hard to get together, but the positive is that you got your paper done and that you feel that it was a success. Good Job!

Mike, thank you for the positive group experience. You really stepped up and took on the role of a leader and took matters into your own hands, when it needed to be. And like you said, now that everything is done you can look back and laugh at all the confusion. It was rather funny, but I definately didn't think so at the time. Thank you for being a wonderful group memeber and I wish that we could all work together for this next project. Good with your group and the rest of the semester!
communication
It seems like your group did manage to get things done via emails / online communication. Our groups members did meet in person, but I wasn't available since I was in Chicago. Hence, I can totally understand the situation of your group members, but I feel that you all learnt a lot by limiting your communication to the online interface. Most groups met in person because everyone is in West Lafayette. However, in our corporate jobs, we may have to collaborate with peers that are located at offices on different coasts, and then, this experience of collaborating without any face-to-face interaction will come in handy.
