There are several reasons why the white paper on a subject is different from one that is selling at product. These reasons are that companies may use this to describe complex technology that comes along with the product. They may also help the company back itself up on any claims that they have given on the product. The sales process is more about how you want to sell your product. This may be for stakeholders within the company.You may not always be able to tell the difference of the white paper, although you should be able to tell the difference with them. The ethical issues that are involved in using the white paper genre to argue a policy or sell product could be very different to different people. I think that since the this is the time where freedom or speech is accepted that you should be able to sell the product or a policy.
