cover letter
To whom it my concern,
Are you looking for a fast paced, well organized employee? Someone who has had many years of experience in human resources? Are you tired of getting resumes that are not up to your standards? What if I told you that you can stop looking?
I am the one for you. Not only did I have a highly academic record graduating college, but I was also in clubs. I am a hardworking, well organized employee. I like the challenge of having more than one task put on myself. I am a self motivated person, a person who is able to work independently. I believe that this job is for me not only have I explained above, but I have many past experiences that will help me with this job that I do not think that the other employees would have. L.E.K. Consulting would be lucky to have me as an employee, hope to hear from you soon!
Sincerely,
Lauren Carr
I used The Rhetorical Question Approach. Although this approach may have worked in middle school writing, it would not work for the business world. This approach you are going on about yourself. Although it is good to let your employer know what you are good at, this just makes you sound like you are perfect for the job. Although you may be well qualified no one is perfect for a job. I think that this approach makes you as a looking employee look terrible. All the approaches in the article “Kairos and the Cover Letter” seem to make the employee either desperate or can even embarrass the employee. You are mocking the company telling them that they need you to become a better company.
