Position Description: Financial Representatives and Advisors within the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network provide expert guidance and innovative solutions for individuals and businesses in the areas of retirement planning, business planning, employee benefits, insurance and investment services, estate planning and education funding. Representatives and Advisors develop their own practices, supported by highly competent staff and our Network of Specialists who provide expertise in all product areas.

DESCRIPTION
OBJECTIVES:
Takeda's internship program blends real world experience with an extensive overview of the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance as you gain professional hands-on experience.

The summer internship program is 12 weeks in length and offers a unique perspective into a world-class pharmaceutical company. Compensation is competitive, and financed temporary housing is available to those who qualify. Our internship program also provides you the opportunity to network with people at Takeda through various planned events and activities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Work with Financial Analysts on various projects in support of the budget process and which assist decision making within various Commercial and General and Administrative Functions.
Work with Internal Audit to document control processes and perform tests of those controls.
Work with Managers and Directors within Finance on special projects (for example, calculating return on investment or NPV on proposed capital purchases or other spend initiatives).
Attend Month-End close meetings with the Director of Finance which examine actual to budget variances relating to product revenue performance and operating expenses.
Assist in preparing presentation materials for Senior Management and Parent Company relating to the Mid-Year Update Budget.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Enrolled in a U.S. accredited university
Must have completed his/her sophomore year
Students pursuing a major in Finance or Accounting highly preferred
