Project Log for Week 15
Posted April 20th, 2008 by jeleachThis week Team gorgeous! got together and separated our parts in the Union on Monday. Ryan and i split the donations brochure up and Amy Leigh and Kendra worked on the patient's brochure. It worked out really well and we all completed the brochures in a timely fashion. I also did the teacher memo this week. Team Gorgeous! was supposed to have a meeting with Hello Gorgeous! on Friday; however Kim got sick with Pneumonia and they could not make it to Purdue. I think that both of the brochures came out really good, and Hello Gorgeous will like them a lot.
Project Log for week 14
Posted April 14th, 2008 by jeleachFor week 14 Team Gorgeous has done quite a bit of work. On Monday at 2:00 our group met in the union and divided the parts up for the week. Each week we have met in the union and thus far it has been working out pretty good. Ryan has done a great job at communicating with Hello Gorgeous!. And Amy and Kendra have done a great job with the client Research memo and client memo. I feel like this group has much better chemistry than the last and we have all done a great job at equally doing the same amount of work.

Posted April 9th, 2008 by jeleachI think that it is so fascinating how people perceive images a lot differently than reading text. Visual representations of images tell people so much about what is going on. In this day in age teachers are trying to find better ways to convey information to students in order for the students to retain the information presented. In many situations when the majority of students are failing a class, it means that the teacher is failing at presenting the information correctly. It seems that some teachers turn a blind eye to this fact of teaching and are neglecting their occupation.
Project Log for Week 13
Posted April 3rd, 2008 by jeleachThis week our group talked on AIM and also met in the Union. In the Union our group evenly divided up the work for not only this week but next week. Ryan made the first contact on Tuesday and Amy followed up with a call because we still have not heard from them. We also decided that it is beneficial to meet at least once a week on Monday in the Union. It is important to divide the given duties of each week evenly. This week I wrote the memo to Ms. Barst and I think that we got a lot accomplished as a group.
Reading Response Week 13
Posted April 3rd, 2008 by jeleachI think that our group project will deem to be a pretty good learning experience and a great cause to fighting and helping the victims of cancer. It is nice to hear that Amy has a connection with Hello Gorgeous!. After meeting with my group on Monday, I know that we are all going to work hard on project 3 and hopefully help Hello Gorgeous!
Project Log for Week 12: Finished
Posted March 26th, 2008 by jeleachIt feels nice to finally be done with the final White paper. I think the most frustrating part of the whole paper was to revise it and make it shorter. For the rough draft i had a little over 1,000 words and I had to reduce it by half. That was probably the most difficult part of the project for me. After all said and done, Amy did a great job at perfecting an aesthetically pleasing white paper. For the most part everyone in our group worked hard to finish the paper in a timely manner.
Project Log for week 11: Posting the rough draft
Posted March 23rd, 2008 by jeleachThis week our group has been working diligently on working on the rough draft of our white paper. We have seemed to have a little bit of a communication break down between group members and some frustration ensued by some. I think that we are doing a good job still and remain on task. With the lack of communication, there sometimes are points where people do not exactly know what to do and get extremely frustrated. It is crucial that our group does not let that happen. I think we need to do a little bit better job at checking emails and responding on a timely basis to avoid such problems.
Project Log for Week 9: Ready to go
Posted March 17th, 2008 by jeleachWeek nine turned out to be an extremely successful week for finalization of what each group member will be talking about. It was a stressful week with all that was due but I feel we have done a good job at staying on task. Our group attempted to get together at Starbucks in the Union however; I had a class at the time so I could not make it. The topics are clear for each group member what they will be discussing about. Amy has done a great job at communicating with the group on what needs to be done and how to go about doing it.
