As a group, we decided not to meet this week. We split up the two pamphlets and as we got critiques and suggestions, we discussed it through e-mail and then made the proper adjustments. I know that Kim and Mike really liked what we came up with and suggested a font to use throughout the pamphlets because they really liked it. Besides re-wording and font changes, there really wasnt too much we needed to fix. I was so glad that I could contribute to such a wonderful organization. I hope they continue to do well and expand to further help women in need.

This week we were extremely productive. We met in the Union on Monday at 2pm and discussed what we thought should be on the pamphlets for Hello Gorgeous!

This week we meet on Monday at 2pm at the Union to discuss what we needed to do for the week. I did the Client Memo, Amy Leigh did the Client Research Memo, James wrote the Instructor Memo, and Ryan wrote up the Project Proposal. I feel that we are moving along very nicely and our group is working together wonderfully. Ryan told us that he got an email from Kim and Mike and they will actually be coming to Purdue on Friday, April 18. I am very excited to meet with them and show them what we have done so far.

Visual aides and messages are very important in every aspect of life; home, school, and career. Visual images are used for persuasion and arguments and to convey relationships between images and the surrounding texts. I know that I do better in a class that has visual aides as opposed to a teacher standing in the front of the class and just speaking. I can listen to the teacher, but I won’t retain any information. If there are visual aides, I can relate the information back to the pictures that I saw.

I thought that the article was really interesting and enlightening but I couldn’t really understand how it pertains to Project Three. I do understand that the article has to do with communication and for our third project, we will be communicating with business people. It is very important to always be professional and on time. This project will show us how to be involved with other businesses and how to do things that we will most likely have to know what to do when we graduate. We also, not only have to communicate with the people of the organization, but with our group members.

This week, Amy, James, Ryan and I meet at the Union on Monday night to discuss how to divide up the work and to learn a little more about the company we will be working with. Hello Gorgeous!

This week was a little stressful and hectic. We all were trying to fix and edit the paper and then email it to each other, so there were several different versions of the draft. However, we got it all figured out and submitted on time. Even though it was stressful, i didnt mind because i enjoyed working with my group. I feel that our draft is very strong and I hope that we receive a good grade on it. Thank you Mike, Kristen, and Hilina for this positive group experience!!

This week, we have all been working very hard getting our paper together. Mike wrote the section on mobile messaging, I wrote the other section on email, Hilina wrote the introduction and executive summary, and Kristen proofreading and writing the conclusion. Everyone has sent their portions to the rest of the group to look over and check for any grammatical or spelling errors. I think we have all come together very well and we have all worked very hard to put this white paper together. I hope that it meets expectations and we recieve good marks on it because we all deserve it!

Our project is moving along smoothly. We divided our topic into two sections: email and mobile messaging. Hilena and I took the email section and Mike and Kristen took the mobile messaging section. I have listed 8 sources for my section that will contribute to the final white paper. We have done a lot of discussion through email this week. We haven’t set up anything else for the next week because it is Spring Break. However, I feel that I can say as soon as we all get back , we will be well on our way to picking up where we left off.
