I will be working with the same group as the White paper project, and we all decided to work with the Women's basketball sports information director. Her name is Sarah White and she is in charge of all media contacts, promotions, press releases, media guides etc. I also interviewed her for the business/professional writing assignment we had to do a while back. She uses a lot of business writing and I think our group can find something to do for the Purdue University's sports information department. I'm not sure exactly what our group can do, but I will be talking with her to figure something out, whether we are creating a press release, promotion sheet, media layouts or anything along those lines.

Adrian Boeh Proposal: The Egyptian Café
My proposal for this project is to work with the new hookah café on campus, The Egyptian Café, and create some business writings for them. I talked with the manager, Maisa, and she was really excited about the idea. After discussing it with her a little, we came up with some thoughts on what type of materials would be good to create. We thought that there are many misconceptions about hookah and its origins, so we thought it would be good to create a pamphlet/booklet/brochure (something) that explains the true health risks/benefits to hookah smoking and also the history/educate…etc
