I'm interested in researching the topic of gun control and informing the target audience about this situation. This topic has been of great debate but this white paper would introduce a solid reference for analysis, rather then simply saying whether it should be for or against. I would discuss and analyze possible courses of action in order to control it, and provide sufficient background. The issues presented would be explained for informational purposes in order to better understand what actions exist within controlling gun control. This topic affects everybody and has always been an issue being dealt with, whether its a school related incident like at Virginia Tech, or an increase in mass shootings that have occurred throughout the past 10 years.

I think that your topic is very interesting, but it might be in the same category as far as abortion and stem cell research go (controversial). I'd be interested in working on this, or perhaps you'd like to pursue my topic (the expansion of bio-fuels and their environmental/economic impact, as well as alternatives).
