Student and young adult voting seems like a troubling topic in today’s world and plays an elevated role in an election year such as 2008. There are a large number of voters between the ages of 22-18 that are either not registered to vote or chose not to vote, but this age group of people holds the future of the country and should display a voice in elections. It might help if candidates for certain positions spoke to college students specifically or if important political players spoke to students about how important it is to vote. It seems that voting rights have played a large role in history and this right has been forgotten in today’s world.
