As this was the last week of classes, as well as the last week for working on our service learning project, I spent the majority of my time working on finishing up our work and working on the final paper for the class. After talking to club members we put the final touches on our brochure and finished up the paper later in the week. Overall I think things turned out pretty good.

This week was spent primarily gathering information and meeting with club members about how the project was going. I met with group members on thursday and we discussed the brochure that is still a work in progress as well as the cards that we are working on. My group and I have spent the week trying to work out some issues with the three items we are working on, things are going well.

This week was spent primarily on preparing our three rough draft formats for the service learning project. We completed a large portion of the membership and business cards for the club. The brochure has taken a bit longer due to lack of information from the club. We are set to have a meeting with club members early next week and hopefully they will have more info for us. I am happy with our group's project so far.

This week my group and I took some pretty big steps in getting going on our service learning project. We completed our proposal as well as made some initial contact with the group that we are going to be working with (SUP). The group seems really interested in working with us and I have already thrown some ideas around with them on what we want to do. I think that if things keep going as smoothly as they are we should do fine on this project and help a new and unknown group gain recognition on campus.

This week was spent primarily working on the white paper assignment. I have found additional sources and started to sort through them for good information. I have also done class readings and been to class each day this week. Today in class I will spend my time continuing to look for sources since I am the only member of my group here.

An idea for the white paper could be the removal of the electoral college from our election system. This topic has some different viewpoints and could generate some discussion. Changing the election system could more accurately determine who Americans want in office.
