This week we wrote our final paper. Each of us wrote about one topic; mine bing the deliverables. Today I'm also gonna start the group review paper that will illustrate the groups participation in the project and how the project personally affected me while also stating how and what could have been changed. This was a fun project wish some of my other classes had something like this for more motivational purposes.

This week our group prepared for the final arrangements that concluded our project by developing a power point presentation that illustrated our goals and accomplishments. Unfortunately, I had to go home an help with the cattle due to the earthquake knocking down our fences. Overall our service learning project helped influence the students and community in participating in the Grand Prix events.

This week we finished our fliers and presented them to the Grand Prix representative. She seemed enthusiastic and enjoyed them. After our meeting on Wednesday we continued to stay in touch with the rep and are waiting for responses on the fliers. Hopefully we can score some free merchandise.

After developing some fliers and brochures for Grand Prix, we delivered them to the organization on Wednesday. We met up on Sunday and put together our presentation over brochures and fliers. Primarily all we did this week was develop the fliers.

This week was an interesting week. On Tuesday we completed or memo that outlined our goals and strategies for the service learning project. We met up with Tracey Todd, the grand prix organization head, and discussed the formal agreement that ultimately outlined the service learning project. Given the spread of the festivities, we also decided to make flyers for the given days activities would be conducted. Finally, Friday we gave our group meeting answering any questions that you had.

We formed a group including Matt Barton, Jake Stengel, and
Travis Preston. Travis contacted the Purdue Grand Prix Foundation seeking their
cooperation in promoting the event. After contacting their promoting head, we
have decided that we can help them, while at the same time completing our project.
Our ultimate goal is to advertise to the community the positive aspects the
Grand Prix provides. This includes entertainment, support of Purdue activities,
and a good social atmosphere. We feel that this is a good project because we can

After finding out Friday that we were to present on Monday we had scheduled a group meeting on Sunday afternoon. Kelley was unable to meet during the given time so it was pushed back. Unfortunetly I had to work at that time so I was unable to meet with them. On Monday we gave our group presentation. It went relatively well. After reviewing our grade for the white paper, we began writing our peer review papers and submitted them. The rest of the week was spent on reviewing others presentations.

This week we finished our White paper. On Thursday we met and developed the final draft. Monday was a day spent on reviewing each others materials and viewing the group revisions. Upon competition we handed in the draft on Friday. Overall the final draft of the white paper seemed to come out very well. We seemed to work very well as a group and showed group cohesion.

This week we finished our rough draft and submitted it on Wednesday. With group cohesion we were able to fulfill the requirements of the rough draft. By completing our assigned parts the development of the draft went relatively smoothly in context. Also, on Wednesday we started reviewing other groups rough drafts and made our critiques. Friday we conducted a group conference/critique with you.

Childhood obesity seemed to offer many topics that could be approached in an effort to minimize it. My topic is school educational programs that would impliment diet, excersise, and simply awareness to weight control. On monday I sent my group sources on my topic. Then on Wed we discussed topics that each individual would complete. On Fri I was unable to participate in class, but I sent my topic and the begining of my rough draft to each member.
