This story was kind of interesting to me. It definately had a dark gloomy feel to it. I didn't understand in the beginning why he would stop doing his research in order to figure out the secrets behind the mill. overall, the story kept my interest.

I really didn't understand this story that much but it kept my interest. It was a really a gloomy story though. I kind of like gloomy stories though. I think he stop doing his research because of the beer that he was drinking. That is the only thing that makes any sense to me why he stoped his research.
I don't really know if they were eating each other or not but i kind of think they were. The only thing that i didn't really like about the story was the ending. I like stories that end and you know exactly what happened to everybody.
