The organization that I have chosen for my project is the Purdue Wakeboard Club along with the Purdue Barefoot Skiing Club. Both of these organizations have a problem communicating to each of its members for various reasons. Both of these clubs had been put together last semester by some other members from the Ski Team along with myself. We tried to get everyone to show up for barefooting practice at least once a week, but it was tough to communicate when the boat was available for us, when the other barefooters were going, and who the drivers were. The same problem goes along with the wakeboard club, but communication was not as important because there are currently no intentions of entering a wakeboard competition. For example, if I wanted to get a group session together, it was very tough to get the message to everyone interested in time. I plan to centralize the communication for these clubs, so that any party that is interested can have access to our events and activities as well as be notified with automatic updates so that members do not have to remember to check for new information all the time.
