I chose Delta Upsilon Fraternity as my organization. I chose my fraternity because I am very well versed in how the communication works and the problems in that communication. Delta Upsilon is the only non-secret fraternity and holds a strict non-hazing policy. There are many chapters, but the chapter I am focusing on is here at Purdue. There is a long, rich history of DU's at Purdue.

Some of the problems with the communication at Delta Upsilon is that there is too many useless emails that are sent that clog member's email boxes. Also, another large problem with communication is lack of participation in events. In these events, many important things are discussed and people miss these things if they are not there. There is a need for one, centralized place to receive and give important information that everyone can access.
