I only really have two organizations that I am actively involved in which I have direct influence.

The first organization that I am activity involved in is my place of employment. I currently am an employee of at&t Mobility which is the division of the at&t corporation that deals primarily with the cell phone side of the company. It is a fast paced company which makes changes every day to adapt and grow with its needs. I believe that this would be a great potential topic organization for the fact that the company is always changing and looking to its employees for ways to improve upon current policies.

The second organization that I am considering is my fraternity. Being a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, I feel that this is an organization in which I have a strong understanding of our weaknesses and strengths and therefore would be able to select a topic to improve upon. I believe the fact the I have held positions in the house as an officer builds upon my credibility of being able to present recommendations for change to the organization.

As all of us are, I am also a member of Purdue University in the form of a student; however, I personally do not feel that would be a viable topic organization due to the fact that I do not have any direct influence upon the University’s policies. Between commitments to school, work, and the fraternity, my time is short for other activities but I feel the activities that I have presented offer great potential for topics.
