Week 8 Reading Response, Scott Dennis, 3/1/08, ChrisP0301

Clearly the designed white paper is easier to read. The font is bigger and more spaced out, and the headings are bigger and bolder. This made is much easier to locate a specific section and read the information therein. The designed white paper had charts, diagrams, and lists. Most people understand things better when they can see a visual representation of something rather than just reading or hearing about something. The illustrations made the subject matter much clearer. The undesigned white paper looked like a big mess of words. I'm sure some people can look at that at understand the message perfectly, but I am not one of them. A more visually appealing document will encourage more people to read it and help them understand what they are reading.
