Summary of Responsibilities:
Intern will work closely with staff members, external customers, and project teams to ensure compliance with business practices, operating policies/procedures and requirements for all aspects of Human Resources. Responsible for the maintenance and tracking of Human Resource projects and programs. Analyze processes and design proposals. Provide input for implementing and developing strategies that support the growth objectives of the Midwest ISO.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in publicizing and administering Midwest ISO Benefit plans
Assist Compensation Manager on researching salary information and job analysis
Post HR related notices
Develop reports, collect and analyze data for managers pertaining to HR programs and make recommendations for improvements
Research HR issues/solutions for further development and possible implementation
Assist with payroll and administration of timekeeper system
Attend weekly intern educational meetings
Prepare and present briefing to senior leadership on internship accomplishments

Experience:
Completion of junior year in Human Resources, Business or Liberal Arts
Knowledge:
