2. I have not volunteered for a nonprofit organization.
3. The three work experiences listed above are all internships.
4. I have been in three courses that really stick out when talking about valuable skills. CIT343 focused on the tasks and issues involved in the enterprise administration of Unix and Windows platforms. CIT455 focused on business and technological aspects of network security for voice and data networks. CIT430 focused on the design and construction of IP Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks which transported packet-switched voice, multi-protocol data, and video.
5. I received the Burmaster Academic Reward Scholarship because of good grades in high school. This scholarship pays half tuition. I have been invited to the Purdue University Mortar Board Leadership Conference. I received a Gamma Scholarship Award from my fraternity for good grades. I am a member of the National Scholars Honor Society. I was invited to and completed the Situational Self Leadership program at Purdue.
6. I have strong interpersonal skills and carry a strong customer support focus. I am great at listening and executing the gameplan. A couple of special talents are having a sense of direction and am known by my family as “Mr. Fixit” because of my ability to figure many things out. My skill of knowing how to figure things out contributes to why I am tech savvy.
7. I can work with much younger and much older people. I disregard anything negative about a person when working with them – I figure we’re in this together. I do not speak more than one language (it’s a good thing I live in America).
8. Yes, I have many computer skills. Systems administration, analysis, design, and management of systems are an area of concentration within my curriculum. I would say I’m pretty good at using the Microsoft Office Suite like many people.
9. I have skills with Digital telephony equipment, switches, routers, access points, and firewalls.
