Educational Experience:

4. The courses that have helped me most up to this point in my educational career are my Spanish courses, my Education classes, and my Communication courses at Purdue University. I have studies Spanish for six years now, and use it as often as possible and have been able to apply it to all of my current and previous work experiences. My Education courses have helped me with various project and planning methods that will be applicable to various career fields, not specifically education. My communication courses have helped me to work in groups, and connect to people on various levels, in multiple situations. They have also helped with my public speaking which will be helpful with my ultimate career goal or becoming a teacher.

5. I graduated high school with an Honors Diploma

Skills:

6. I believe my strongest skills are in customer service. I love working with people, am very organized, can manage agendas/meetings/schedules, I have no trouble multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks, I manage conflict effectively and if I do not know the answer to a question am always willing to do the research to find the answer. At this moment I would like to continue in customer service throughout my college career, until I end up in the educational field. I think the skills used in customer service apply to education in various ways, and that the customer service field will continue to provide positive experiences for me.

7. I consider myself to be mildly bilingual with English as my first language and Spanish as my second. I have studied Spanish for six years, and have translating experience in Mexico while there with a church group.

8. I am very comfortable with computers of all kinds, and adapt to new software quickly and painlessly. I am familiar with Microsoft Office products, ’93-’07, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and FrontPage.
