To keep from losing points for something silly

Here's a little reminder: Be sure you post your final draft Communications Solutions project documents to the Final Draft node/tag under the Communications Solutions Project node/tag. If you have not done so, go back in and edit your post to move it there.

Some of the final drafts of the Project Plan Memo were not posted under the Final Draft node/tag for that part of the project and will, therefore, lose points (after I track them down, that is).

Week 16 Posting Report Log

Hello everyone ~

For those of you who requested a form for your Week 16 posting report, here it is. I think I've covered everything, but if you see something missing, let me know.

Remember, use the correct filename conventions, and make sure all your links are "hot" and go directly to your blog post for that entry.

We're on the downhill side, everyone ~ keep up the momentum!

Thanks!
Scott & Rebecca

Communications Solutions Project Nodes/Tags

Hello all ~

I've created nodes/tags for the

0101 students ~ Employment Project (Proj.1) and Wk 8 post activity report grades

Hello everyone ~

Just wanted to let you know I'll be sending your grade to date on posts, quizzes, etc., along with your Project 1 grades, to each of you this evening via email.

Rebecca's students: Grades

Hi all ~

I just wanted to let you know that I'll be sending your employment project grade sheets out with you Week 8 posts grades this coming up week. I'm going to make every effort to get them all finished and emailed to you before the end of the week, so I have one less thing to do during spring break. As it turns out, we are moving over spring break, so you can see that I'm quite motivated!

Hope you're enjoying the nice weather.

White Paper Project nodes/tags

Please note that there are now individual nodes/tags for the each of the White Paper project components ~ for example: Group Proposal, and Individual Work (b)logs -- Project Week 1 (Calendar Week 8 ).

I'm sorry I didn't think to create them before (I've been sick this past week or so), but they're there for your use now.

Announcement re: Students still seeking a group ~

It appears that there are still one or two students who haven't joined a project group. Since two (or even three) people aren't enough to support the workload of this project, these students will need to join groups that have already formed.

If you are a member of such a group and get a request to join your group from one of these students, please do your best to accommodate them.

Minimum number for a group is 4, but you can have 5 or 6 if necessary. Beyond 6 gets unwieldy for group meetings and whatnot, but 5 or 6 is usually doable.

Quiz #4 due on Monday, Week 8

Just wanted to give you a heads up that I've added a link to Quiz #4 (Week Cool to the calendar for Monday. Please link to classmarker.com and log in to take the quiz.

(cute ~ the site changed the 8 with parentheses to a smiley with shades! too funny)

File Naming Conventions

Hello everyone ~ Those of you in my section (0101) will have noticed that I sent your Week 4 report back to you with a new file name. That name is composed of your login name and keywords that identify the assignment or what's in the document (ex: FirstnameL0101Wk4report.doc).

Post Grading Criteria

Hello all ~ The following are the criteria by which your posts, reading responses, etc. are evaluated.

Reading Responses, some exercises, and work logs may earn up to 6 points each

6pts. ~ RR is of the required length (300 words) and is on time; reflects deep understanding of reading; engages others in additional questions or comments; reflects a profound or interesting point

5pts. ~ RR is of the required length (300 words) and is on time; reflects some understanding of the reading; engages others
