ABOUT THE OFFICERS

Francesca San Pedro, President
Francesca is a senior in Professional Writing from Bolingbrook, Illinois (a southwest suburb of Chicago). She has just completed minors in Linguistics and Spanish Language and Literature. As you may suspect from these choices, she thoroughly enjoys language and, consequently, travel. She participated in a Purdue maymester to China in the summer of 2008, and most recently spent the summer of 2009 interning at a publishing house in Boulder, Colorado. You may often see Francesca in the writing lab, either working as a Business Writing Consultant or fulfilling duties as a Crouse intern.

Josh Borchardt, Treasurer
Josh Borchardt is a senior in professional writing and creative writing. This is his second year with Professional Writing Club. He transferred to Purdue from Central Michigan University, where he was pursuing a degree in business administration. He found his calling with writing upon arrival at Purdue. After graduation, he hopes to start a career with a major publishing house and eventually craft a novel.

Callie Leuck, Secretary
Callie is a senior from Noblesville, Indiana with a major in Professional Writing and a minor in Plant Biology. She works as a Technical Writer for Agriculture Information Technology in Purdue's College of Agriculture and is specifically interested in pursuing graduate studies in Science Writing. Callie enjoys tea, Oxford commas, and swing dancing. She can often be found dancing at music events, randomly throughout campus, and at friends' houses when not busy writing.

Suzie Mason, Social Coordinator
Suzie Mason is a senior in Professional Writing with a minor in Communication. She is currently the Social Coordinator for the PW Club at Purdue. Suzie hopes to find an awesome job after she graduates in December and is looking forward to getting to meet new PW students as well as see some familiar faces.
