Welcome back! I hope that everyone had a regenerative break and is as excited about the upcoming semester as we are! Keep your eyes open for updates from the ICaP committee as well as announcements about upcoming events. With MLK day upcoming the Purdue University and Lafayette–West Lafayette communities are invited to attend University Celebration on January 21, 2010, at 7:00 p.m.

In light of the significance of writing in our national life, to draw attention to the remarkable variety of writing we engage in, and to help writers from all walks of life recognize how important writing is to their lives, October 20, 2009, will be celebrated as The National Day on Writing.
