Properly citing you work is extremely important, no matter what type of document you are writing.  Citing your sources gives you more credibility as a writer and also allows the reader to find out where you got your information from and research it for themselves.  There are different ways of citing information and since different businesses requires you to write in a certain way, its good to be familiar with the different styles of citation. These articles were very useful in explaining why citing information was important not only in college, but also in the business world too.
