These articles helped to point out that proper citation is not only important in writing classes, but is vital in real life as well.  There are so many different ways to cite things, and it is important that you are consistent within the paper and make sure that the style fits with the topic.  When writing papers that need citation, I like to use Word ’07 because is has a really convenient source management option.  It makes citing very easy and allows you to change between different styles, like APA and MLA, with the click of a button.  Since it is so easy to use, I always cite things to avoid ethical or plagiarism problems.
