As a collective group, we have decided to use Palo Alto's Business Plan Pro Version 11.0 to assist us in creating our business plan for 9th Street Exchange. We believe that through the use of their easy, step-by-step directions, sample business plans and convienient exportation to MS Word and Excel will help us create an effective, official plan of business that could be used in attracting investors.

As we rummaged through textbooks online and in bookstores, we found that many instructions were a bit complex and confusing. Business Plan Pro was built for the individual with no previous entrepreneurial experience, which we feel is fitting for our group. It creates a neat, organized platform which we can easily put together.

In Palo Alto's 11th version, they offer over 500 sample business plans which range from e-commerce to high scale restaurants. We believe that through the use of side-by-side comparison with an industry related business plan, we can further develop our document in order to attract investors.

Lastly, we can use this software to our advantage due to the fact that we will not have to create our own format as the software arranges information for you and exports it to MS Office software such as Word or Excel. This eliminates format and structure error and creates a more professional look to the plan of business.
