Mission Statement - sharma19
Submitted by sharma19 on Thu, 11/06/2008 - 02:55The mission statement of my company is to make energy bars which are not fattening but effective, in my company I want to develop an energy bar which would again encourage people to eat energy bars rather than drink energy drinks that's why I came up with the idea of dark chocolate energy bar, this unlike other bars would not only be less fattening but would have more effect than them, there would be two variants, one containing nuts and the other without nuts containing rice krispies for people who are allergic to nuts, this would target to a wider target market as it would serve two diffe

Student Groups
Submitted by asmartin on Wed, 10/15/2008 - 17:22After reading the article, I find it funny that each description of the different group characters all seem to be negative. I could say that myself and almost any group member I have ever worked with, at one point, has been guilty of displaying the characteristics of each of these different classifications. When I was reading the article, one group experince came to mind more than others. A group project I worked on during my freshman year with 4 other individuals for the class Communications 114.

Feuds in student groups - sharma19
Submitted by sharma19 on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 14:03Determining from my group experiences, I have come to a conclusion that working in a group can be both difficult and challenging but rewarding at the same time, these are two sides of the same coin. Though working in a group can challenge you both mentally and physically but the rewards might be worth all the hardwork. No two indivisuals have the same style of working they may be whiners, martyrs, saboteurs, bullies and deadbeats but them working together as a cohesive group would ultimately unite them.

Feuds in Student Groups
Submitted by bjyoon on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 13:24As the article states, "[human groups] bring out the best and worst of the species. At best, groups are superior to individuals because they can accomplish more work, are more creative, have more information, and offer more pleasure through the process of task accomplishment. At worst, groups waste time insiduously, accomplish little work, and can create an arena in which interpersonal conflict can rage." Overall, this statement describes perfectly well my group experiences. Working in groups, I have almost always been able to finish the assigned work on time as well

Group Work - Tom
Submitted by tsluis on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 13:15Groups can be one of the most successful tools or one of the most volatile. It is impossible to go through college or the work environment without being part of a team/group.

"Student Groups" - JKM
Submitted by JK Molotsane on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 13:04In my experience of group projects, I have found that working with a group of individuals is challenging yet rewarding. A group project may challenge one’s character, integrity, tolerance and patience. Yet the rewards may outweigh the challenges through better grades or a prize or most importantly, personal growth. Group member personalities may differ (e.g. the whiners, martyrs, saboteurs, bullies and deadbeats) however the way in which these members find solutions to their problems will ultimately unite them.

Feuds in Student Groups-Feedback
Submitted by jfraga on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 12:18Over the recent years working with groups, I have found that some of the best ideas come depending on the specific make-up of the group. I have gotten the chance to be in groups that work well, where every individual has a different function and the end result is successful.

Pfister-Working in Groups
Submitted by mdpfiste on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 11:36
Personally, I have never enjoyed a group project. I have enjoyed working with others on certain parts of the project, but every time I find myself thinking that this project would have been easier to do by myself. I find it frustrating having to go over other peoples work and proofing it just to make sure I get a good grade. I am a good leader or secretary in-group projects. I take proper notes and send out emails and reminders for almost all group projects.
