Business Idea Pitch

Pitch analysis - sharma19

Overall i feel that my business pitch was a good one but there are some points that i have to certainly improve upon. I feel that i started off my pitch in a good manner by asking the class a common questioN being "How many of you have been tired after working out", i asked this question as i knew this would gather the attention of my peers and as thought they did respond.

Pitch Analysis-Briana

My feedback was pretty much the same as my impression I had of myself when I gave it. The one thing that I felt I did poorly on was having the long awkward pause towards the end of my speech. Joe pointed that out in his analysis of my pitch.  The pause was a result of nerves, but it could also be attributed to the strict structure I had for my presentation.

Outside Insight

No matter how impressed you are with anything you do, it can always be improved by those who are on the outside looking in. The greatest form of correction and criticism comes from the insight of others. I thought our peer review of our business idea pitches was a fantastic idea and was extremely helpful in preparing me for the final cut. It was easy for me to identify that I was indeed, quite nervous. However, when that feedback comes from someone else, it bring the encouragement to settle down.

Pitch Analysis

Overall, I believe my business pitch had an equal amount of effective and ineffective parts. It seemed my idea, itself, was appealing especially to the female audience. And the words I chose like “designer” had caught the audience’s attention. However, I thought I could have been more organized and emphasized my ethos in presenting my idea. No matter how nervous I was, if I had displayed more of my ethos, I believe my pitch could have been more effective. The fact that I was standing in front of the class got me nervous so I began blabbering out my pitch.

Pitch Analysis - Braun

Finishing the elevator pitch I took my seat thinking that I had preformed to the level at which I had prepared.  Replaying the speech in my head I noted that I stumbled at least once during the speech.  It was noted by a peer that I however seemed calm and conveyed no real signs of nervousness.

Pitch Analysis-Tapp

I thought I got my idea over to my audience pretty well.  I probably should have used up the time allotted better, but I didn’t want to bore my audience with minor details.  I just wanted them to be able to picture what I wanted to do and try and get them excited about it.
