Don't you hate it when you can't reach the bottom of the Pringles can once you do some seriously mealin out? Well, I know that I am, and I'm going to talk about how a simple device can ease your nerves and keep those chips at the bottom still intact instead of crushing them while squeezing your hand to the bottom. A simple push up system would be installed at the bottom of the can for easy elevation of the chip level to the top of the can. It is easy and the kids will love the new gadget. Of course it will be safe against jerms and other bacterias so no worry that something will get lodged into the patented push up system!
Device Dilemma
That's an interesting concept, however I have to question the overall success of the pringles product. What type of sales does it have relative to other potato chips? It could possibly be too small of a market to target this product and ensure success- as it is not a product that all chip producers could use and this may severely limit the success of the gadget. And ultimately, consumers will buy pringles because the chips are good, not just because they are easy to access using this new device.
Actually, lays has been
Actually, lays has been moving towards the pringles can design, though their contanier is more modeled to the "chip" shape. I think they are called stacks? I do agree that most people are going to to just eat pringles because they are good.
As far as disruptive techonologies go, I guess the pringles can was pretty innovative.
