•This week was our final week to revise and edit our brochure and flyer for project 3.

•Monday December 3rd was the date we requested that our client Deb respond to our email and documents. By Monday night we had not heard back from Deb so I called my group member Alison to see what she thought we should do. We decided to wait until Tuesday morning and if Deb did not contact us, I would email Julie.

•Tuesday morning, December 4th, I emailed Julie to let her know that we had not heard back from our client and to see what we should do. Julie replied back and said that she would contact her by telephone if we don’t hear back by Wednesday morning. I also called Deb on Tuesday night and left a message on her voicemail kindly asking her if she had any feedback that she would like to give us on the brochure and flyer.

•I checked my email later Tuesday evening and Deb had emailed our group back with minor suggestions to our brochure and flyer. Our group made the revisions that she requested and we sent the documents back to her as well as to Julie on Wednesday, December 5th. These were the final documents of the assignment and now our group must complete our individual logs and peer evaluations due by Friday December 7th to complete the course.

•I learned a lot from this course and this project. I had never heard of a service learning project through any of my other courses, but I think it was a very good project for students to do. I liked it because it was interactive with the community so it felt like the assignment wasn’t just for class. It will be neat to see our brochure and flyer around the town!
