Dear Philippe Studer,

As one of your former campers, and acquiring most of my summer childhood memories at La Moubra, I have a profound interest in becoming part of your staff as one of your counselors for the juniors of the summer of 2010 and that is why I applied for this job.

Having already experienced the camp for four years, and through my cultural and language background, I can be a good candidate for this position. I have in fact lived in six different countries, spread between the American and the European continent, and became fluent in Spanish, Italian, French and English. These experiences enabled me to grow in the same international background that La Moubra promotes.

I also have experience in working with children as I used to teach Italian at an afterschool program and summer program at one of the local schools. I have developed a sense of responsibility, patience and fondness of children not only through teaching but also by being around my six-year-old niece and three-year-old nephew, helping them in their school work or simply playing with them.

I am always enthusiastic about sharing my experiences at La Moubra and guide children in growing as they develop social skills by interacting with people from all over the world, gain interest in a variety of activities, and start building memories and experiences they will hardly forget.

I will be calling you in the next week to check on my application status. In the mean time, if you wish to contact me you can do so at the above address. I look forward to talking to you.

Sincerely,

Wima Stefanutti
