I feel that this portfolio is good because it is well-organized and gives a lot of information in a concise manner. It doesn't give unnecessary information and has a professional feel. A link to the resume would be nice, but maybe this is available for those who have LinkedIn and can view the full profile.

Portfolios and You

The first portfolio I came across was a professional, text based portfolio. It is located here: .

Art and Publishing Examples Awaaaay!

So here's a really well organized Fashion Designer's portfolio. Check out his stuff though, the kid loves himself some Tupac. And he's good at it too!
Art Portfolio 1

Here's another fashion design portfolio. This one is divided into categories but transitions very well. This one is also geared more toward a technical display of talent than the artistic approach of the first one.

Online Portfolios

Here are some examples of online portfolios that I like for a number of reasons and pertain to post-grad interests I have.

1.) http://www.visualcv.com/kcerney

From VisualCV, this portfolio has a design that is easy to follow. The thing I like most is all of the "extras" she has at the bottom. Her awards, writing samples, press samples, and quotes from references give employers more insight into her experiences and accomplishments than a simple resume with a few links does.

Portfolios...Like the one I need

1. http://www.visualcv.com/alkratzer
This portfolio in VisualCV doesn't use "I am" nearly as much as the others I've looked at. Al does a nice job including lots of information by using powerful verbs. His "professional profile" is really well done, again using interesting and active descriptions.

Curriculum Vitae and Portfolio Search

The first CV I found that I thought was produced well was Warren Haynes, the 23rd greatest guitarist of all time.
