Jennifer's Final Portfolio

Professor Blakesley,

The URL for my online portfolio is at the bottom of this post. Using Wordpress proved to be rewarding, though challenging. I ended up learning a lot about HTML code and CSS pages. I also worked a lot in Photoshop to edit my sample images and the images in the Wordpress theme I used.

The only critiques that most people had for the site was that it needed more images, so I incorporated a photo of myself in the sidebar, and also included images for my work samples in my portfolio. I made these sample images links to the actual sample to help make my site more interactive. As several other students did, I used Scribd to post my files.

Other than that, I've been working on tweaking the details, such as making text readable and checking for errors in the text. I tried to utilize a lot of links--both within and out of the site--so that users would find it more accessible.

I'm proud of the portfolio I've developed, and I hope to keep it updated from now up until I graduate a year from now. I think it will definitely help me in my search for a career!
