Maggie's Final Online Portfolio

Here is the link for my digital professional portfolio: http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~mzahm/Portfolio/
This portfolio gives a brief description of who I am as a writer and what I want to accomplish. More importantly, it showcases my previous work and provides contact information. My main goals with this project were to give my audience the ability to network with me and see what kind of work I am capable of accomplishing. I believe my samples page is a great illustration of this. I was able to describe various documents I've created, provide a pdf version of them, and show thumbnail versions to give the site more visual appeal.
This project was a little tough for me since I have never used the DreamWeaver software before, but I think I did a great job with the resources I had. If I had more experience with the software, I'd like to have larger images of my documents embedded on the page (not quite like Scribd. I would like to be able to mouse over a thumbnail version and have it produce a larger image right on the page) in order to make my documents more accessible to my audience. In my mind, the less clicks a viewer has to make, the more likely they are to view my samples.
All in all, I'm really proud of my portfolio and hope potential employers in particular will be impressed as well. Thanks for a great semester!
