End of semester calendar and reminder

Here are a few reminders about the end of the semester and calendar issues.

• On December 1st, we commence our class presentations. Be prepared at the beginning of class to give your presentation.
• Audience members will be listening closely and evaluating your presentations. Your audience members will also be expected to ask questions.
• Presentations should invite interesting discussion. If interesting and engaging discussion ensues, we will forgo the group portrait of a professional writer assignment listed on the syllabus for the last week of class. Engaging discussion will also push back the interview report to be due the last day of class.
• EXTRA CREDIT OPTION: On Thursday, December 3rd at 6pm in the Writing Lab, the PW Club is hosting a guest speaker, Karen Griggs, who is a grant writer here at Purdue in the Office of the Vice President for Research. Students who attend this talk will receive extra credit for class.
