Interview

I conducted my interview of Julie Krizen on Sunday November 8. Julie is an evening news anchor at Channel 18 and is also a reporter and producer. I was very nervous going into the interview because I did not know what to expect. I arrived at the station and Julie met me at the door. She gave me a tour of the studio. We did the interview in the break room. It was informal and I felt very comfortable. The interview went really well. I learned a lot about being in news. A lot of work is put into news. Reporters, producers and anchors have to write their own stories. Julie is all three of these. It was interesting to know how much work being in the news is. I had a preconceived notion of what people do in the news and was blown away at how different the job is.
