Tuesday was the class period when each group gave oral presentations to the class about their deliverables. My group utilized a 4 slide PowerPoint presentation. I gave the introduction and explained the e-mail template, Emily explained the flyer, and Maxie explained the newspaper advertisement. Afterward, we discussed with you about how we should handle our client. Unfortunately communication has been difficult between our group and the client. You suggested being more assertive in our approach.

Our group has continuously been working on this project over the last six weeks and have constituted a project worthy of distribution and advertising for the Morton Community Center. Brenda Lorenz, the director of the Center, has responded to our drafts of the brochure and the online publication on Purdue's E-Sidewalk. She told us to change a few things relating to the descriptions of the Morton Community Center on the inside of the brochure.

During the final week of our client-based project our team worked extremely well together. The week started out with a meeting at Hick’s in the DLC to perfect our final deliverable and figure out what we were going to do for our final presentation on Tuesday. We decided as a group that we should just put our Mor’ Danc’n pamphlet up on the projection screen and explain how we made it. On Tuesday we did our presentation successfully. The feedback that Mr. Baker had about the improvements we made on our pamphlet was very positive.

This week was the final week of class and we needed to finish the client based project. On Monday we got a video camera from the DLC so we could do our interview. On Tuesday we went to the Boys and Girls Club to show Mr. Richard our final deliverable to see if there were any more changes he would like us to make, and do the interview. He wanted to do a better job emphasizing a few things, and we changed them for him. Also the interview went very smooth, although the sounds was a little quieter than we had wanted.

This week was a little a busy for our group. Last Thursday, we had our presentation to the class about our brochure and what we did and why. Later on in class, we decided to split the 3 page paper up and figure out when we were going to go in and meet with Mr. Richard to do the video interview. On Tuesday, Joe, Jacob and I went to The Boys and Girls Club to show Mr. Richard our brochure and conduct the video interview. Mr. Richard loved the brochure but had given us a few changes to make that were not hard to do.

This week hasn't been so dead for my group and I. After meeting in class on Tuesday we scheduled a time to meet with our client and conduct our video interview for the literacy project. We arrived at the restaurant and finally got the chance to sit with our client and have some casual conversation. The interview followed and went over very smoothly. We learned a lot about what Don had been through and what led him into the restaurant business, he even referred to himself as the "Jack of All Trades".

This week our group accomplished a lot. We mainly focused on our video literacy project. We were having trouble contacting our client so we finally went in and asked him when he would be available in the next two days so that we could get it completed with time left for us to edit the tape. We met three times this week. The first time we met was during class time to come up with our talking points for the video project. We also talked about some of the changes we were going to make to our deliverables.

This week we focused on the Video literacy project, as well as the three page document and the final outcome of the brochure.
We decided a couple of weeks ago how we would distribute the individual tasks and we came up with a plan. Initially, Jessi got the camera from the Hicks Undergraduate Library and gave it to Joe. Isabelle, Joe and Me went to the Boys and Girls club to film the interview with the questions Jessi wrote.

This week was extremely busy! Saturday, we dedicated around five hours doing the video interview with Mrs. Benner and also editing the video. Saturday, our group met on campus before heading over to the coffee house. We organized our list of questions and selected the ones that we felt best met the required topic. At the coffee house, Jenn and I set up two chairs next to one of the decorated walls. We also set up a table to record the interview. Clayton did a great job of keeping the interview going and phrasing the questions to go off what Mrs. Benner said.

In the final week of work, our group worked together to finish all the necessary elements of this project for Morton Community Center. On Monday, the group met to format the final draft of our deliverable and prepare a presentation of the deliverable for the class. We decided to divide the presentation into the sections that each person focused on in the creation of the project.
