This week our group met and revised and made a changes to our rough draft templates. We then decided on when we would do our interview for the video. We figured out when the most people were going to be available to do it on Tuesday. In class we worked on any last touches we had to do to our final drafts of the project and Ashish and I began working on our final paper.

This week our group was very productive. We met on Tuesday night to film the video interview part of the project in Rawls. We found ourselves a private, quiet study room to film it in. We had some technical difficulties but were able to figure things out through trial and error. After filming the interview we went to Hicks library to upload the video. It was all of ours first time doing something like that so it was kind of hard to figure out, but luckily we had the library staff helped us out. After our meeting with Mr.

This week our group finished up work on our deliverables. We had completed most of them before Thanksgiving break but needed to make some changes before presenting them to Mr. Baker on Tuesday. Since we were not all able to meet at the same times, I met with Kelly Sunday night to go over any small changes we thought needed to be made to the deliverables. Kyle, Gerrit, and I then met on Monday to go over the changes Kelly and I had made and to make any changes they thought would be good. We met with Mr. Baker on Tuesday and got good feedback on some changes to make in the deliverables.

This week we had completed a lot of deliverables. We completed our rough drafts on Sunday to ensure that we were prepared to meet with Mr. Baker on Tuesday. Tuesday we met to determine what else we needed to complete to templates for Lafayette Instrument. After we met, we as a group met to finish the templates and turn them into final draft quality. We also work on the video project by reserving a camera, scheduling an appointment to meet with a member of the Lafayatte Instrument team for the interview, and determine what questions we would ask. We will be completing this next week.

This last week we met over the weekend before class on Tuesday to finish last editing of the rough draft of our public documents. I was unable to meet Monday before noon when they had to be submitted by, so Kayla and I worked on Sunday. We mainly focused on changing the lay-out of the flyer for the club sports. We took a few pictures out to really focus more on putting more words on the flyer. We felt as a team from the beginning that for club sports we should focus on the credibility of Mr. Thiel. On Sunday, we added that section in, making it the biggest part of the advertisement.

The finishing touches were added to both of the public documents this week. Our distributable menu is finally finished and looks great. However, we are having some trouble getting our background picture to cover the entire paper for the menu. We met on Monday morning to just look over and make very minor changes to the layout of the menu. On Tuesday, we met with our professor to give him an update on our progress thus far and to explain to him what our next steps are.

This week our group turned in the rough draft of our deliverables. Samantha mainly composed the brochure while Tyler and Brandy contributed their specified sections to the brochure. I composed the flier, and I sent the rough draft of the flier via e-mail to my group members for their approval before we submitted it on noon on Monday. Samantha also e-mailed her rough draft so that all of us could edit the rough draft before Mr. Baker looked it over. On Monday, Brandy, Tyler, and I met at Hicks library in order to edit the brochure further.

This week our group filmed the video project. Erik rented a video camera from hicks and we used a graduate study room in Rawls hall to film the video. Upon arriving at the study room, we realized that the video camera did not come with a tape or memory card, so Erik and I ran to some nearby stores to search for something we could record the video to. We were lucky enough to find a tape and everything went smoothly from that point forward. Taylor had prepared some very good questions and I had given Jim the list of questions earlier that day so he could prepare some answers.

This week our group finished up and presented the deliverables to Mr. Baker. From there we got some really good advice and ideas on a couple small things that we could change on our fliers and ads that would make them very good and hopefully a very effective marketing tool for Mike at Sports Etc. After our meeting we had a group work day and corrected a few of the things and ideas that Mr. Baker had for us. For the most part they were very quick fixes, however we found it a bit difficult working with photoshop to manipulate some of the pictures for the deliverables.

This week of our client-based project we pretty much finished up our groups deliverables. The rough draft of our deliverables were due on the monday after break. Luckily, our group worked hard on finishing the fliers and newspaper ad prior to break. As a result, this took off a lot of stress and pressure to rush and get our deliverables done. This week we our group put the finishing touches on the deliverables, particularly getting "Sport Etc" logo on the fliers.
