This week our group finished up work on our deliverables. We had completed most of them before Thanksgiving break but needed to make some changes before presenting them to Mr. Baker on Tuesday. Since we were not all able to meet at the same times, I met with Kelly Sunday night to go over any small changes we thought needed to be made to the deliverables. Kyle, Gerrit, and I then met on Monday to go over the changes Kelly and I had made and to make any changes they thought would be good. We met with Mr. Baker on Tuesday and got good feedback on some changes to make in the deliverables. On Thursday, we had a group work day in class and made additional adjustments to our deliverables. We had some difficulty getting the Sports Etc logo on our flyers; Mike didn’t have an electric copy of the logo so we had to scan it in and edit it in Photoshop. I had used Photoshop a little previously but am not proficient in it, and we had some trouble getting the image the way we wanted it. We finally learned how to use the features we needed in Photoshop and edited additional images for our flyers to make them clearer. I called Mike this week to set up a time to do our video interview. We are going to meet him Monday night at his store to do the interview. We plan to brainstorm interview questions on our own, then bring them together before we meet with Mike so we will be able to get the information we want out of the interview. While we are meeting with Mike, we will show him our deliverables and get his feedback and find out what discounts he wants on each ad. We plan to meet next week to edit the video and make any additional changes to our deliverables.
